MEET THE MYERS FAMILY
Darren Myers was raised in Lebanon, MO. He and his family were members of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. He put his trust in Jesus Christ as a child and surrendered his life to the Lord as a teenager.
Darren graduated from Baptist Bible College with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education in 1989. While in college, he met and married Tamara Nelson. After graduation, Darren and Tammy moved to Lebanon, MO to take the Music and Youth Ministry at Tabernacle Baptist Church under Pastor Hal Hightower.
After serving in Lebanon for 12 years, Darren pastored the Landmark Baptist Church in Rolla, MO. The church in Rolla grew in many exciting ways over 13 years. (The Myers family is sent out of the Landmark Baptist Church, where they are still members.)
In January of 2015, Pastor Myers went into full-time evangelism with the Freedom Focus Ministry. Through preaching, teaching, music and multimedia presentations they are proclaiming the truths of freedom to this generation.
Darren and Tammy have three sons which are now married. Scott and Krystal (and grandchildren Willow and Nelson) reside in Nixa, MO. Dustin and Lauren (and grandchildren Jude, Zion, Ada and Paul) reside in Sparta, MO. Daniel and Madison (and grandson Reuben) live in Branson, MO, helping with the Freedom Encounter and the Freedom Journey Show.

As an extension of Freedom Focus, the Myers family has produced the Freedom Journey Show in Branson, MO since 2017. This unique show blends the truths of history with the truths of the gospel using live music, videos, reenactors and quotes from America's founders. To learn more, visit www.FreedomJourneyShow.com.
The Myers family is also building the Freedom Encounter in Branson, MO. This is currently a 2,000 seat theater, bookstore and coffee shop, which will eventually house a museum and children’s Colonial Village teaching the story of tyranny, faith and freedom.
